Travel Scholarships

To support participation in the BYO Innovation Challenge, travel scholarships are offered to rural and remote-based members of the Faculty of Medicine and Health.

This scholarship is designed to cover reasonable travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending the event.

Scholarships are currently closed. Please keep an eye out in 2026 for information on the next round of BYO Innovation Challenge.

How to apply:

Review the Travel Scholarship ‘Information Form’ linked below to see inclusions and conditions
Once open, complete your expression of interest form for the challenge and select ‘Yes’ for the Travel Scholarship question
If accepted into the challenge, one of our organisers will reach out with the Travel Scholarship Agreement form for you to sign

Please note that scholarships are limited, and we aim to distribute them across regions to support broad representation.

Preference will be given to individual applicants over teams, as the program will provide participants with skills and insights they can takeback and share within their teams and communities.
